Geoff McDonald
Previously the Global Vice-President of HR, Talent, Marketing, Communications, Sustainability & Water at Unilever, Geoff is now a global advocate, campaigner and consultant in addressing the stigma of mental ill-health in the workplace. He is also a very much sought-after experienced keynote speaker, strategic advisor and consultant who inspires and provokes organisations globally to put purpose and wellbeing at the centre of everything they do with a reputation for energizing and motivating people to take action in creating workplaces that enhance the lives of everyone. He brings his own experience of addressing the stigma of mental ill-health within Unilever, helping to archetype the transformation of this company with Purpose at its core and provides a real practitioner’s perspective on how to address the stigma linked to depression and anxiety within workplaces today, and on how to elevate wellbeing to a strategic priority in the Boardroom.
Geoff is a Co-Founder of the Minds@Work network, a charity which endeavours to inspire and equip individuals to break the stigma of mental health within their organisations. He also advises and helps organisations define and embed their Purpose as a driver of business performance and speaks on the power of Purpose and how a sense of organisational purpose can transform an organisation/institution.
