Green Man Walks is an early intervention wellbeing model developed in response to the consistently and deeply concerning high suicide rates in men (although not exclusively).
It offers a flexible blend of nature-based and physical activity outdoor interventions from a couple of hours’ purposeful wander in the local park to longer form behaviour-change programmes and day-long mini-expeditions.
These are all designed to unlock wellbeing through peer support, confidential sharing spaces, fun and camaraderie while tapping into the unlimited potential of nature to aid recovery, resilience and meaning in our lives.
From an organisational perspective, GMW programmes can enhance employee wellbeing offers, improve retention and absence, better engage staff and drive ESG commitments.
In a complex and confusing world with the workplace/world of work in flux, we can lean on the unlimited power of nature to illuminate a path to the daily challenges of life.
