MALCOLM STAVES

Previously a site engineering technologist and a plant manager, Malcolm Staves has worked in corporate environment, health and safety for several companies prior to joining L’Oréal, in 2009, where he is Global VP Health & Safety. Since his arrival at L’Oréal, Malcolm has developed strategies for the globalisation of health and safety, with a focus on risk management, visible felt leadership, and putting people in the centre. He is the Occupational Health & Safety expert partner to the Capitals Coalition, where he is driving putting occupational health and safety firmly into the human capital and ESG agendas and a co-founder of OneWISH, that aims to promote diversity and inclusion within the health and safety profession. Malcolm is a Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers, International Institute of Risk and Safety Management and a member of the IOSH Business Leaders Forum.
