Suzanne Semedo

Suzanne Semedo is the former Head of Culture, Diversity & Wellbeing at Ofcom. She has spent most of her career helping to tackle some of the most challenging equalities and human rights issues facing the public sector. Suzanne is passionate about inclusive leadership, she previously led delivery of the cross government Talent Action Plan and Civil Service’s first D&I Strategy. She has won awards for facilitating the career progression of minoritised groups including people of African descent. In her spare time Suzanne engages in several community groups and networks; is an Enterprise Advisor, supporting the educational attainment and career aspirations of young people through strategic partnerships between employers and schools, trustee of BANG Edutainment a youth charity and UN Human Rights Fellow.
