YULIA O’MAHONY

Yulia O’Mahony believes that sustainable high performance can be achieved only when there is an open, trusting culture, and promotion of individuals’ wellbeing, rooted in a holistic approach to people’s health.

She is the Global Head of Health & Resilience at Philip Morris International, responsible for developing a global wellbeing framework and strategy, a role she took up in April 2021.

Previously, she become the John Lewis Partnership’s first ever Head of Wellbeing and D&I in 2017. In this role, she crafted a new aspirational vision for culture of wellbeing and inclusion and developed a strategy to realise it, collaborating with JLP’s senior leaders. She piloted and rolled out several innovative solutions, working with tech startups, as well as charities such as Samaritans and Wellcome Trust.

Yulia has a wealth of experience in strategy, operations, and finance, having worked for leading consulting firms such as Bain & Company and AlixPartners in USA and Europe, as well as holding senior commercial leadership roles in John Lewis Partnership.

She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, PG Certificate (distinction) in Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health from King’s College London, and MA in computer science from Moscow State Academy of Management.
