Kari Sprostranova

Kari joined Mace in June 2021 as Director of Health, Safety and Wellbeing for Mace Construct to provide clear strategic leadership and focus on ensuring everyone goes home safe and well.

As of August 2024 Kari has taken overall responsibility for Mace’s HSW performance and strategy, working closely with operational teams across Mace internationally, providing strategic direction and ensuring that HSW operations, processes and measurement are aligned across the Group.

Kari has worked as a Health and Safety professional for over 20 years, with experience across a number of industries including Waste, Engineering and Construction, including two years as Principal Inspector with the HSE (Health and Safety Executive) with accountability for investigating  serious incidents and complaints across the UK construction industry.

As a highly experienced Health, Safety and Wellbeing professional, Kari also has extensive experience of project management, business improvement and stakeholder engagement.
