MARK MALCOMSON CBE

Mark has been Principal and Chief Executive of City Lit, Europe’s biggest adult education college, since 2011. Previously, he was the Director of Executive Education at London Business School and President of the New York Institute of Finance.

Together with Baroness Hollins, Mark co-founded the Mental Wealth Festival, which is now in its 8th year.  The Festival brings together talks, events and courses highlighting support for improving mental well-being.

He possesses a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Edinburgh; a Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of Strathclyde; and a Masters in International Relations from the University of Kent.  His roles as trustee have included the National Institute of Adult Continuing Learning; University of Kent; and The English Speaking Union.

Mark was made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire in the 2017 New Year’s Honours List for services to adult education.
