Naomi Pryde

Naomi leads DLA Piper’s Litigation and Regulatory practice in Scotland and is Global Co-Chair of the firm’s Space practice.

Her expertise lies in complex commercial litigation and arbitration across a wide range of sectors. Most of her work has an international element. Naomi is a Solicitor Advocate and is qualified as a solicitor in all UK and Ireland jurisdictions.

Recognised with various professional awards, including Scotland’s “Lawyer of the Year” in 2021, Naomi has been distinguished in UK-wide talent lists, she is consistently ranked by the legal directories and she notably featured in Law.com’s “top female lawyers under 40“.

Outside of private practice, Naomi seeks to contribute to the community: she is a charity ambassador for a number of charities and leads several international pro-bono projects.  She served as an elected council member for the Law Society of Scotland for eight years and is a founding member of its charity; the Law Scot Foundation.  Naomi was a co-author of the Mindful Business Charter’s litigation charter and she is a founding member of Look Up & Beyond, a group committed to promoting diversity in the Scottish Legal profession.  She is also the proud mum of a boisterous four year old boy.
